This tour itinerary prepare with personal experience of Landscape and wild life photography. You will personal guided by photography guide who know the locations by heart and will take you ideal time of the day to each destinations to cover sunrise and sunset photographs. Also this is covering most famous and most visited national park of Srilanka “Yala” for leopard trails photographs too. Also hotel accommodations going to allocate in the ideal photography locations and wild life friendly areas.
Arrival at the international airport. Welcome you then transfer to Negombo. Relaxing in the hotel. Sunset Photography in the Negombo beach. Overnight in Negombo.
Early morning leaving to Negombo beach for Sailing boat photo shooting. After breakfast proceed to Pinnawala elephant orphanage,established in 1975,commenced with five orphans. Today some of these orphans enjoy the fortune of seeing their grand children born in the same location. Then proceed to Dambulla,visit Dambulla Rock Cave Templein the afternoon. Overnight in Sigiriya.
After breakfast proceed to Polonnaruwa,which was the medieval capital of Sri-Lanka,built in 11th and 12th centuries also declared a world heritage site. You can see the ruins of the Royal palace,Buddhist monuments,and visit Lankathilaka and Galviharaya with their splendid statues of the Buddha,carved out of the living rock. Back to Sigiriya. visit Sigiriya rock fortress,a well secured rock fortress which is also a world heritage site.
Next Day After breakfast Landscaping photographs of Sigiriya rockin the different direction. In the late afternoon sunset photograph of the sigiriya rock from the Pidurangala mountain. Overnight in Sigiriya.
After breakfast proceed to Kandy,built by King Walagambahu,on the way visit Spice and herbal gardenand Hindu templein Matale. Walking tour in the Kandy cityand witness the cultural showin the evening. Sunset photographs of the Kandy lake. Overnight in Kandy.
Early morning photo shoot of the Kandy lakethen back to breakfast in the hotel. Visit Temple of the tooth relic,then proceeding to Nuwara eliya known as Little England through the scenic mountains. Visit Tea factory & Tea plantationand taste a cup of world famous Ceylon tea. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
Next day Early morning leaving to Horton plainsthen 09 kms trekking to enjoy nature,wild life and photography. Then leaving to Adam’s peak on the way visit St:Claire and Devon waterfalls. Overnight in Adam’s peak.
Early morning leaving to Landscape photographs of Adam’s peakin different directions. Then leaving to catch the train to Nuwara eliya (Nanu oya) then travel to Ella by train. Enjoy Scenic Train tour.
After breakfast leaving to Nine arch bridgeto take some photographs when the train is passing the bridge. In the late afternoon Climbing little Adam’s peakto enjoy magnificent landscaping and take photograph of the sunset. Overnight in Ella.
After breakfast proceeding to Yala,on the way stop at Ravana falls. In the afternoon enjoy Jeep safari in the Yalanational park.
Yala national park is the most visited and second largest National park in Sri-Lanka which is consisting of five blocks. Two blocks are open for visitors local and foreign and adjoining parks,The blocks have individual names such as Ruhunu National park (Block 1) Kumana National Park (Block 2 and famous for birds) also the highest density of the Leopards (Panthera Pardus Kotiya) in the world and it is home to wild elephants,wild boars,wild buffaloes,sloth bear,spotted deer,and crocodiles. Large flocks of migratory and indigenous birds are also found here. Overnight in Tissamaharama.
After breakfast Leave to Galle. Visit Dutch fortressin Galle and Sea Turtle Hatchery. Sunset photographs with Stilt fishermenin Kosgoda.
Next Day Early morning leaving photo shooting of the Stilt fishermen then leaving to Dondra light house. Sunset photographs in Japanese peach pagoda in Galle. Overnight in Galle.
After breakfast proceed to Colombo. Sightseeing Tour in Colomboincluding visit to Galle face green,Old parliament building,BMICH,Independent square etc.
After breakfast proceeding to the airport for the departure flight. End of the Tour!!!
