I'm Amith De Silva,a licensed National Tourist Guide Lecturer since 2012,with my journey in tourism beginning in 2009 at Jetwing Travels in Negombo. I hold professional qualifications from the Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (SLITHM) in Colombo,along with a Diploma in History from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and a Diploma in Entrepreneurship & Business Management from the University of Colombo.
Tourism runs in my blood—my father began his career in 1976 with Fairfield Tours and worked with renowned companies such as Baur's Tours,MacKinnon Travels,Hem Tours,Pan Lanka Travel,and many more. Today,my brothers and I proudly continue this legacy,dedicating ourselves full-time to the tourism industry.
I currently manage several ventures,including Rent A Tour Guide Sri Lanka,Rent A Private Driver Sri Lanka,Ayubowan Homestay Katunayake,and our newly registered travel agency,Miracle Lanka Holidays,where I serve as the Director of Sales & Marketing.
